Overview
Oswyn is a contemporary coffee shop brand built around clarity, consistency, and everyday approachability. The project focuses on developing a complete visual identity system starting from logo design to its application across physical touchpoints. The identity is designed to feel modern yet familiar, balancing a clean typographic approach with a warm, human presence that fits naturally into a daily coffee routine.
Challenge
The main challenge was creating a visual identity that feels distinctive without becoming intimidating. As a coffee shop brand, Oswyn needed to stand out in a saturated market while remaining accessible, friendly, and easy to recognize across various applications from menus and packaging to uniforms and interior visuals. Another challenge was ensuring the identity system remained flexible enough to scale, without losing its character or visual consistency.
Solution
The solution lies in a bold yet simple typographic logo paired with a cohesive visual system. A strong color palette dominated by blue and neutral tones establishes recognizability, while clean layouts and clear hierarchy keep the visuals structured and functional. The identity system was designed with real-world usage in mind allowing the brand to adapt seamlessly across signage, menus, packaging, merchandise, and social touchpoints, all while maintaining a unified visual language.
