Zando is a creative agency known for its flexible and experimental approach to design. This personal project explores a rebranding concept that repositions Zando with a more expressive and contemporary visual identity.
Challenge
Creative agencies often face a unique branding challenge: they must express creativity while still maintaining clarity and consistency. The identity needs to feel distinctive without becoming visually chaotic. For Zando, the challenge was to develop a system that could support a wide range of creative outputs from social media content and website design to merchandise and printed collateral, without losing its core identity. The visual language needed to feel energetic and contemporary, while remaining structured enough to work across different contexts and formats.
Solution
The rebranding approach focused on building a dynamic and flexible visual system rather than a single rigid identity. The design language combines psychedelic and abstract elements with collage-inspired compositions, creating a sense of creative energy and visual unpredictability. These expressive elements are carefully balanced with minimalist Swiss-style layouts, using strong grids, clear hierarchy, and intentional spacing to maintain readability and structure. By merging artistic chaos with systematic design, the identity becomes both experimental and functional. capable of adapting to different formats while maintaining a recognizable visual voice.
Result
The final outcome is a bold and highly adaptable brand identity that reflects the creative nature of a contemporary design agency. The system works across a wide range of applications, including social media content, websites, merchandise, printed materials, and promotional visuals. Its flexibility allows the brand to constantly evolve while remaining visually cohesive. This project demonstrates how contrasting design philosophies, structured minimalism and expressive visual art, can coexist within a single identity system, resulting in a brand that feels both dynamic and intentional.
